fear of an impending disaster.

The film won the European Film Award in European Film Awards, while it was honored in multiple festivals, such as Cannes Film Festival and Goya Awards.

The film revolves around the feud that bursts between clans of the Di Lauro Camorra syndicate. The feud is triggered by the murder
of gangsters relaxing in a tanning salon and erupts between members of the Di Lauro syndicate and the separatists, who are led by Rafaele Amato, brother of two of the men killed in the salon. The film interwines five separate stories of people whose lives are
touched by organized crime.

The film won four awards of the European Film Academy (among them best European film 2008), plus the Grand Jury Award of the Cannes Film Festival. It was also nominated for a Golden Globe and a BAFTA Award in the Foreign Language Film Category.

George and Anne are a couple of retired music teachers, who enjoy their lives in their eighties. When Anne suffers a stroke, their life will never be the same again. Despite their bright life and career, their desire for dignity proves an unexpected struggle, when George needs to make decisions that are vital for the rest or their lives.

The story of two children, Voula and Alexandros, who don’t know the identity of their father and decide to search for him. During their wandering, they find help in the face of some wandering actors and a truck driver. After getting away from the police that hunts them down, they get tickets for the train to Germany, where they believe their immigrant father lives. During their journey, places always change into an empty, misty scenery.

The film won the EFA (European Film Academy Award for Best European Film of 1989) and multiple awards in festivals such as those of Berlin International Film Festival, Chicago International Film Festival, Venice Film Festival (Silver Lion for best direction as well as the FIPRESCI Award) and SESC Film Festival in Brazil.

Scottish ex-con Stevie finds work in constructions, converting a hospital into luxury condos. Stevie discovers a lost handbag, and when he returns it to the owner, a spacey hopeful singer named Susan, he falls in love. He and Susan are soon living together, but their happiness won’t last for long.

The film won the European Film Academy Award for Best European Film 1991, as well as the FIPRESCI Prize at the Cannes Film Festival.

During her search, she will meet an old friend and bond with him and his group of friends- until tragedy strikes again.
