Irene and Stella are two sisters who grew up in the province and now live in Athens. They stay in an apartment overlooking a summer cinema. They are approaching forty, they are still virgins and dependent on one another. Their only relative, their cousin Stephanos, with whom they were both in love, is living in Paris. When he returns and visits them, the balance between them is disrupted. Stephanos convinces Irini to leave with him, and Stella, often hysterical, commits suicide.

The film won 4 awards at Thessaloniki Film Festival: Best Debuting Director, Best Actress, Best Cinematography and Best Editing. It also won the Best Film award from Hellenic Film Critics Association.
